Natalie Buccini

Natalie Buccini is a founding partner of Peabody & Buccini LLP. She has been practicing law for over 12 years, with an emphasis on healthcare defense. Prior to commencing her legal career, Ms. Buccini obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and practiced as a labor and delivery nurse for over 10 years. Multiple clients request her representation given her clinical experience and first-hand knowledge of the practical aspects of medicine. This unique skill set allows Ms. Buccini to effectively defend all types of health care providers. Her dedication to her clients, passionate support of their vocation, and her work ethic, continue to be the sought after traits that have led to the successful resolution of cases, including multiple trials and arbitrations in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange counties. Ms. Buccini is also admitted to the Southern District of the United States Federal Court.
Ms. Buccini obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at California State University, Sacramento. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, in San Diego, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Society of Law and Medicine. Currently, Ms. Buccini is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the San Diego Defense Lawyers. She has been named a “Super Lawyer” in California, and was recognized as a “Lawyer of Distinction” in the area of Medical Malpractice law in 2020.
Ms. Buccini is often asked to lecture and educate hospital staff on risk management issues and how to avoid litigation. She previously facilitated conferences on biological and chemical terrorism held at California State University, Sacramento, and coordinated and conducted Health Screenings for government employees in association with the California Works Well Program.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys traveling, playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with family, including her dog, Rex.
